There was a workshop held on 14.07.2010 in the municipality Cheshinovo_Obleshevo restaurant  Ambasador regarding joint representation of the rice producers thriogh establishement of a Cluster.   Organiser of the workshop was the municipality of Cheshinovo-Obleshevo and farmers association Agro Stimul. During this meeting there was initiative to establish national council for rice and gather in order to enable presentation on the higher authorities: 

-    Harmonisation with the ongoping sand future policies in agriculture and rural development;
-    Activities for development and promotion of this sub-sector, competitiveness and establishing Kochani rice as brand;
-    Organisation and forms of connecting in order to work together within the sub-sector for rice
-    Results from the workshop was elaborated project proposal Improvement of the competitiveness of th rice through organization of the paerticipants in the rice cluster. Also the application was submitted to the Centre for development of the East planning region. The budget of the project is  800,000.00 MKD. Requested amount form CDEPR 600,000.00 MKD.
