On May 10th in the Municipality of Shtip a meeting of the Council for Development of East Planning Region. Presiding at the meeting was the Mayor of Municipality of Shtip Dr. Zoran Aleksov.

On the meeting presents was the mayors of the eleven municipalities from the region: Dr. Zoran Aleksov the Mayor of the Municipality of Shtip, Mr. Toni Tonevski the Mayor of the Municipality of Probishtip, Mr. Vasil Bogdanski the Mayor of the Municipality of Karbinci, Mr. Blaze Stankov the Mayor of the Municipality of Zrnovci, Mr. Emil Donchev the Mayor of the Municipality of Vinica, Mr.Jovancho Stanoevski the Mayor of the Municipality of Pehchevo, Mr. Jordancho Levkov the Mayor of the Municipality of Chesinovo-Obleshevo, Mr.Dragi Nadzinski the Mayor of the Municipality of Berovo, Mr. Goran Maleshevski the Mayor of the Municipality of Delchevo, Mr. Darko Mitevski the Mayor of the Municipality of Makedonska Kamenica, Mr. Ratko Dimitrovski the Mayor of the Municipality of Kochani.

Present at the constitutional meeting was Ms. Dragica Zdraveva the manager of the  Centre for Development of the East Planning Region, Mr. Goran Angelov GTZ RED consultant, Mr. Pavle Donev representive of the GTZ RED office in Shtip. The official clerk of the meeting was Ms. Liljana Mirakovska, Administrator in the Centre for Development of the East Planning Region.

At this meeting Mr. Ratko Dimitrovski the Mayor of the Municipality of Kochani was elected as the President of the Council for the East Planning Region.  Mr. Ratko Dimitrovski thanked all members for their expressed trust and he hope that together they will achieve success in regional development.
