The Council for Development of the East Planning Region held its 5 (fifth) regular meeting оn 02.09.2009 (Wednesday) in Delchevo.
Chairman of the meeting was the President of the Council for Development of the East planning region the Mayor of Kochani Municiplaity, Mr. Ratko Dimitrovski. The meeting was attended by all the Mayors from the East Planning Region, the Manager of the Center for Development of East planning region, and the consultant of the Center Dr. Dennis Žernovski.

Despite the discussion on the regular activities of the Centre, an important topic on the agenda of the Council was Identification (entrenching) of priority regional projects. The Centre for Development of the East Planning Region will apply to the Bureau for Regional Development with these projects for financing through the funds available from the Programme for attractive regions and Programme for balanced regional development for 2009.
Another important point for discussion were the prepared Project Terms of Reference arising from the priority areas from the Development Programme of the East planning region (2009-2013),  as well as the Action Plan for implementation of the Program for 2009. The Terms of reference were rated by the Council as of good quality and elaborated on high level. Consequently the Council authorised the Centre to start implementing the project activities
