On the 15.09.2009 in the small hall of the Municipality of Stip held a working meeting on the situation with the introduction of waste sector in the region. On the some ware present the Mayors, Manager of the Centre for development of the East Planing Region Mrs. Dragica Zdraveva, represents from the Municipalities Council, Public enterprises and sectors for environmental in the frame of East Planning Region. On the working meeting was present and Mrs. Elizabet Poncelet from TEAKS mission for waste management, Mrs. Darinka Jantinska manager in department for IPA in the Ministry for environmental and spatial planning.

At the meeting, views were exchanged on the situation with the integral management of waste within the region. Of satisfaction was noted that there is enough done. Already signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the mayors in the region for the formation of regional and communal enterprise during a procedure of decision making by councils of local governments to establish such a company.
At the end of meeting Mrs. Poncelat did not hide the pleasure of the work done so far, wished success in further activities of this plan.
After the meeting, all present visited the deposit Treshtena skala near Stip.
