According to the open call for project proposals from the German Embassy, the Centre for Development of the East Planning Region coordinated the application process for the municipalities in the east planning region. The Council discussed the issue and it was decided that 7 project proposal will be applied though the Centre for 2009. The following projects were approved and implemented:

 1.    Reconstruction of the warehouse and adjustment in the classrooms in elementary school  Todor Arsov, s.Zrnovci;
2.    Replacement of windows in the school Vanco Kitanov, Pehchevo.;
3.    Construction of sewage pipeline to the kindergarden Veseli Cvetovi in Delcevo;

After successful implementation of the envisaged project activities, on 18.01.2010 the officials from the German Embassy and the Center as coordinating body solemnly announced the opening of the construction locations.

As sign of thankfulness to the representatives of the German Embassy, the municipalities awarded them with gratitude letters and the children from the kindergarden in Delcevo had a small performance show.

Although the grant amount is very small, it contributes significantly to the improvement of social infrastructure and living conditions of people in rural and poor areas. The proof for this is that municipalities are very much interested to apply with such projects.
