Layman's report within the framework of the project “Common Plans for Biodiversity Conservation and Sustainable Targets for the Development of a Bilateral Network of Protected Areas - COMBINE2PROTECT" funded by the European Union through the Interreg IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Programme between Greece and the Republic of North Macedonia.





The Layman’s Report is a project activity for promotion of the project, for raising public awareness by presenting the project activities, results and goals with the most important information and a brief description of what will be implemented within this project, with the help of all four project partners: Centre for development of the South-East planning region as Lead Partner, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, State Environmental Inspectorate of the Republic of North Macedonia and Region of Western Macedonia from Florina, Greece as project implementers.

Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) is part of the package for external relations. IPA and other elements of the package are a great opportunity for streamlining and simplifying the procedures of the European Commission and improving the coherence and coordination of the activities of the Commission.
